Great product to assist in the accuracy of your shot, especially with the rear bag. being able to pinch for fine tuning has helped in great groups at 200m, 300m, 400m and 500m. Tend to use the bipod at 300m and beyond.

As advertised, this rest is perfect for taking your lever action to the range. Plenty of clearance to enable you to cycle the action without having to reset your whole position after each shot. Lightweight but sturdy.

only gripe is the large bag doesnt have a strap like the smaller one to keep the filler flap against the bag to avoid spillage once full

OK...it works. 'Does what it says on the tin' sort of thing. It's fine to use for sighting in a rifle, or setup out in a paddock somewhere for a spot of plinking or varmint shooting. I have just started in rimfire benchrest and thought this rest might be OK to start with (and intending to upgrade it one day when I'd saved a few more $$). It's cheap and cheerful. 'Made in China' with all their usual care and skill (which means it's a tad rough around the edges). If you want a precision rest then this is not for you. I've already sold mine (to a hunter who just wants to check out his reloads). I just assembled it, looked at it, and realised it's not what I wanted. Sold it on the same day. But it may be exactly what you want. It will do the job, and probably a lot better than an old sandbag rest will. It's worth what you pay for it. I wasn't disappointed at all, just that it didn't really suit my purpose. I have now paid more than 10x the $$ just to get a 'starter' level benchrest front rest. Just for throwing in the truck to take the kids out for a bit of shooting training, or to check out your rifle sights then this Smartreloader rest is OK. Solid, easy to setup. yeah...it's fine for general use.
