As far as affordable vibrating tumblers go, this one works great for cleaning brass cases. With crushed walnut media, you get a lot of dust. Walnut media cleans well but the brass doesn't come out shiny. There's almost no dust with crushed corn cob media and it cleans well too and the brass comes out shiny. If you want it polished, add some polish. The cases come out clean using either dry media. If you remove primers prior to cleaning, the primer holes won't be as clean as using wet media with steel pins and little pieces of the dry media get stuck in the primer pocket and flash holes. They are easily removed with a small pin punch or compressed air.

Works a treat. I spray after shooting on a sat arvo, plug the barrel and leave overnight. Gets all the copper out and most of the carbon, first go!

This thing is a beast! Definitely not a lightweight and if flying with it and guns will almost certainly make it eligible for excess baggage Haven't tried dunking it in a pond to test waterproof but well constructed, sturdy and will hold two of my rifles securely with it's customisable pluck foam. Securing latches on each end as well as 5 at front was an unexpected bonus. Locking holes for 2 padlocks (although being plastic this is more to stop children from getting in rather than deterring a determined thief). Very happy with this purchase
