One side of the Warthog V-Sharp II Diamond 1000 Hone Sharpening System has a high grit side of a diamond stone and the other has a honing steel. You can use these diamond stones to put a quick end to a stong edge or to just put a smooth finish on a stony knife. The other side has the famous Warthog V-Sharp II Diamond 600 Grit Medium / 1000 Grit Fine which features diamonds on both sides. The other side has the same coarse grit but is an additional 1000 grit diamond stone. The other side has the same fine dual sided honing steel. These Warthog Diamond Sharpening Stones as well as the Honing Steels, can be used for touch ups or as a final sharpening tool. We also carry the Warthog 1000 Grit Diamond Honing Steel along with the original Warthog 1000 Diamond Honing Rods in a separate product line.
